Perales Nutrición
During my semester in Seville, I interned at a small private nutrition clinic, Perales Nutrición, under the guidance of its owner, Pablo Perales. Throughout the internship, I gained insight into the growing issue of adult obesity in Spain, observing firsthand how it affects the country’s healthcare landscape.

In this literature review, I explore the historical context of obesity in Spain and analyze how lifestyle choices, genetic predispositions, and cultural dietary patterns have contributed to the rising prevalence of obesity. I conclude the paper by reflecting on my personal experiences and observations from the internship, offering a practical perspective to complement the academic research
